Why in this, the year of our lord 2025, am I starting a blog? Why, in the age of content creation for the purpose of monetization, would I do this for fun? The answer is in the question. I'm so over everything being some form of ad or motivated by creating an income stream. Now is the time, I've decided, to pretend like it's 2008 and yap on an internet platform without compensation, just for fun. Turning to what is now considered an 'old fashioned' platform has inspired the name of this little commentary blog. Time will tell if I'll have the wherewithal to keep up with it, but I think it'll be fun to at least give it a try.
